Why Lazale is our test winner

How Lazale became our No. 1

We were sceptical. Stretch marks attract plenty of promises – right up to “just cream them away”. No cream can do that.

So our team used Lazale in the salon themselves. What convinced us was the formula: six caring actives in one cream instead of a plain oil – and so easy that you actually stick with it.

Today, Lazale is our test winner. Don’t just take our word for it – look at the brand’s original photos above.

The team at ARBUTI, Munich

Sound familiar?

  • Reddish streaks after pregnancy or weight gain.
  • Pale, fine lines on hips, bottom or thighs.
  • Marks on chest, shoulders or upper arms after building muscle.

These are exactly the marks we compared the options for. Fresh, reddish marks respond best to care. If stretch marks appear suddenly and for no obvious reason, please have it checked by a doctor.

Three things convinced us:

  1. More than a body oil. Many classics are pure oils. Lazale is a cream with guarana extract second on the ingredient list, plus soy and moroheiya extract, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, urea and liquorice – all openly declared.
  2. Made for large areas. The 150 ml pump bottle covers tummy, hips, bottom, thighs and upper arms. Massage in morning and evening until absorbed – that’s all there is to it.
  3. For women and men, hormone-free.After pregnancy, weight loss or building muscle. Dermatest® rates its skin tolerance as “excellent”. Our team has used Lazale in the salon.Dermatest seal: Original, excellent, 10/2023

“I recommend Lazale cream to my clients for stretch marks. We use it ourselves and we’re convinced it works.”

Good to know

Can stretch marks be removed?

No cream can make them disappear completely – stretch marks are fine scars in the connective tissue. Over time they fade on their own: reddish marks turn into pale, fine lines. Regular care can visibly soften fresh marks and make the skin more supple. Laser or microneedling at a dermatology clinic go further.

Bio-Oil or Lazale – which is better?

Bio-Oil is a mineral-oil-based oil with plant extracts and vitamin A; the brand tested it against a placebo in a small study. Lazale is a cream with more caring actives – guarana, soy, moroheiya, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and urea. If you like an oil, Bio-Oil is a good choice. If you want a cream with all-round care, choose Lazale – that’s why it comes first for us.

How long before I see a difference?

Expect several weeks of regular use, morning and evening. Fresh, reddish marks usually respond better than old, white ones. Individual results may vary.

Does Lazale work for men too?

Yes, the cream is expressly made for women and men – for example for marks after building muscle or weight changes on the chest, shoulders, upper arms, back or hips.

Is Lazale gentle on the skin?

Dermatest® rates its skin tolerance as “excellent”. Among other things, the cream contains menthol, capsicum extract (which can feel warming), glycolic acid, fragrance and wheat protein. If your skin is sensitive or you have allergies, patch-test first and don’t apply it to broken skin. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your midwife or doctor first.

Our verdict

“Start while the marks are still fresh – and stick with it. Lazale morning and evening: the cream that does more than an oil.”
